From a small forwarding desk in Singapore in 1989 to a publicly traded global logistics platform serving 18,000+ enterprises, our story is built on one principle: do exactly what you said you would, every single time.
In 1989, our founder Tan Wei Lin signed Global Transit's first contract โ a weekly air-freight consolidation between Singapore and the Port of Long Beach for an electronics manufacturer. That lane still runs today, now alongside 4,300 others.
Through every expansion โ into ocean freight in 1996, into bonded warehousing in 2003, into customs brokerage in 2008, and into our public listing on the NYSE in 2017 โ the discipline has been the same: invest in people, in technology, and in network density before chasing volume.
Today Global Transit operates 86 owned facilities, 4,200 owned tractors and a digital platform that processes 41 milestones per second across our network.
Logistics is a promise about time. We design every workflow, contract and SLA so that the promise we make is the outcome you receive.
We are an extension of our customers' teams. Our pricing is transparent, our incentives are aligned, and our reviews are quarterly and frank.
If you can't see it, you can't manage it. Every shipment, every dollar of duty, every kilogram of COโ โ surfaced in real time.
We have a Science Based Targets initiative-validated commitment to a 50% reduction in Scope 1+2 emissions by 2032 and net-zero by 2045.
AEO, C-TPAT and TAPA-A certifications. Zero-tolerance anti-bribery program audited annually by an independent third party.
Decisions made closest to the shipment. Our regional control towers are empowered to commit resources up to seven figures without escalation.

Logistics is responsible for roughly 11% of global COโ. We've committed โ and externally validated โ a Science Based Targets initiative roadmap that bends our trajectory in line with a 1.5ยฐC scenario.
We host quarterly facility tours at our hubs in Singapore, Rotterdam, Memphis and Dubai. By invitation, for qualified shippers.
